I’m a student and I’m about to graduate. I also work to support myself. I was 8 weeks pregnant when I found out and my world fell apart as all these doubts surfaced. Why me? Why if I was always so careful? And then I found safe2choose! I highly recommend this organization. At first I wasn’t sure about them or if I was even going to send them a message. Thinking about it over and over I finally decided to contact them in live chat, praying for a response and that it wasn’t some fake website. It worked, they answered me and informed me about how many weeks pregnant one had to be to use abortion pills safely as well as the correct way to use them. They were super nice and attentive while we chatted. First I took Mifepristone and 30 hours later I took the Misoprostol. I had thrown up after using Misoprostol and hadn’t had bleeding, so I took the 4 extra Misoprostol pills. After this I felt a tremendous amount of pain in my uterus. This pain was similar to my period cramps, but probably 3 times worse. I took 800mg of Ibuprofen 1 hour after using Misoprostol, and it didn’t really help at all. My boyfriend was with me the entire time in the event that something went wrong. The side effects I experienced were really bad chills, I felt very cold and I was shaking because of the pain I felt in my uterus. I still hadn’t started bleeding, but approximately 5 hours after using Misoprostol the bleeding started. For about two weeks I felt on and off pain and experience on and off bleeding, sometimes very light and sometimes expelling clots. Ibuprofen helped a little with the pain.
