I wanted to share with you all part of my testimony for those of you looking for help like I was a few months ago. safe2choose is an organization very important in my life because they helped when I most needed it, during a time of lots of anguish and uncertainty. I looked for information on the internet about abortion. Here in my country it is criminalized. Everything went well, I did it exactly how they told me to. I took the first pill, Mifepristone in the afternoon. That night a I felt some cramps as if my period was coming and I went to sleep. In the morning I woke up and had a little bit of bleeding. That evening I took 800mg of Ibuprofen and 30 minutes later I put the 4 pills of Misoprostol underneath my tongue for 30 minutes. I went to my bed to lay down and I barely had pain because of the Ibuprofen. The next day I woke up and expelled 3 large blood clots and continued to bleed that day like my normal period. I bleed for about one week. I didn’t need to go to the hospital and I had no complications. Although I did this alone because I had no other choice, I recommend doing it with someone in case you were to need help.
